Seven beings that had never met before, from different planets and eras, keep cautiously observing each other until Zee, the most outgoing of them all, tries to start a conversation. It does not take long for them to understand that they speak the same language, and so, a dialogue starts to take place. Andrius, the blue-skinned star cop, remains in silence. And so does Buck, the Terran mechanic. Mayla, one of the most beautiful women they all have ever seen, keeps the introductions going on, such as Ziggy, a purple lizard that looks like a pet, who seems to be amazed by the possibility of interacting without being attacked. Ned, a young Terran tries to let some words out, but blushes every time he does it. Alicia, the athlete, does not talk too much either. She just keeps [snapping] the biggest number of joints she can.

The seven start to explore the place, observing its strange characteristics and looking forward to meet natives. After almost one day of trail they get to a wall that, besides being very high, holds an intimidating forcefield above it which keeps pulsing in red. It looks like a city. They spend a few more hours circling the wall until they find a strongly protected entrance. In front of the gate, there is a big black shiny sphere that calls everyone’s attention for its beauty and mysterious look.
