Story

Trumai is the capital of the Muras. This huge village is important to its people for many reasons. Some rituals, magical or not, can only take place there, with the attendance of the sorcerers, the Shaman and the Lord of the Village.

Also famous for its parties, Trumai is the home of the biggest event of the Muras: the Mura millennium fair. This festivity is a great celebration to life. Its name has no link with an exact date, since there’s no precise time count in Mura, but it is an estimate of when the fair happened for the first time.

During the millennium fair, it is possible to find a great variety of attractions. People negotiate food, different types of drinks, artwork, handicraft, clothing, etc. Capoeira, dance, music and even magic shows are typical ways to entertain the audience.

It is considered an honor to be part of any of these presentations. So, everyone do their best to during trainings and rehearsals to try and be part of the show.

Architecture

In Trumai, instead of houses, there are huts. Since it would be an enormous throwback if the Muras decided to abdicate the engineering knowledge they already have and started to build straw houses once again. The solution was to cultivate a fruit, under “magical cares”, in order to use them as dwelling.

There's nothing higher than the treetops; there are no fences between the huts or any other elements that may remind a big city. The village is organized in a smart way, based on knowledge built up before the great division, but never leaving the tribal aspects behind.

Some “buildings” distinguish from others for their size, always grounded, like schools, but always with the same shape. The Lord of the Village’s hut is big and ornamented, so are the Shaman’s and the Warchief’s. The barracks and the sorcerer’s huts are also a little different from the others.

Description

Trumai and its villagers don't deny their past or renounce the knowledge they acquired in times when technology was accepted. This legacy is used to make daily life easier, although it is done without being corrupted by ambition or forgetting their origins.

For this reason, there are no buildings. No villager or Lord of the Village would ever agree to put down a tree in order to build something with the intention of "stacking up" people.

There are schools in Trumai, since it wouldn't make sense not to have literate and enlightened citizens. If any sort of energy is needed, it is magically obtained, preventing any harm to the environment.

But the allusion to technology has its limits. There are no vehicles, roads or sidewalks in Trumai.

In the central part of the village, there is a huge clearing, where many sorts of events take place; from parties and important birthdays to rituals and ceremonies.

Like any other tribal society, all citizens work. Women, men and children; everyone is assigned tasks. Some people become more famous than others, but the importance of the community is never forgotten.
