In childhood, he has always been attracted to magic and rituals. He had all he needed to become a great warrior, but wanted to learn and study magic. Even though he practiced and learned combat techniques with other villagers, his interests were not focused on this area. So, his will has been respected and Cauré became a sorcerer.
The spells themselves, creation of enchanted objects and the infusion of magic into the paint used for body painting were his preferred subjects. He wanted to learn more and more about that topic, which the others found so hard to understand.
This desire and capacity to master some areas of sorcery combined with the body structure of a great warrior, generated an incredibly talented sorcerer who was also good in physical combat. It was a rare combination of skills, because, usually, the ones who choose to follow the path of magic did not use their free time to improve any physical capacity or weapon abilities. On the other hand, it was very usual to see young Cauré not only in rituals, studying in the huts of other sorcerers or practicing body painting, but also training his skills with different weapons and playing / practicing Capoeira with the tribe warriors.
His dedication and disposal to do all these activities were so intense that he earned the red cord Capoeira master rank in no time. Some years later, always training and teaching others, already as Trumai’s Shaman, Cauré earns the white cord Capoeira master rank and is named Lord of the Village of Trumai on the same day.
Different from others, he did not aim for the Lord’s role. His wish was to become a Shaman that was able to fulfill all his tasks the best possible way and, one day, have his name mentioned on Trumai’s history. As a Shaman, he continued to study and mastered the art of body painting.
So, Cauré developed and taught techniques of how to enchant the paint and create several magic effects on the ones who had their bodies painted.
Personality
The Lord of Trumai is an aged man, but he doesn’t reveal it. This is a strategy to avoid creating speculations about possible successors. Many Lords of Villages have taken this as a habit. They give big parties on their birthdays every year, never revealing their ages, until the only people who know it end up forgetting or confusing themselves. This way, their age stays unrevealed.
His large face and serious expression could intimidate 
those who do not know him, but, speaking of this man, it would be just a mistaken first impression. Being in charge of Trumai demands an enormous responsibility, and he deals with it very well. Cauré works hard and is always ready to help everyone. He believes that all the villagers deserve the same attention and these subjects are only postponed when his attention is demanded by one of his counselors (Warlord, Shaman or Seer).
The dressing of the Lord of the Village is not important. For this reason, his clothes are not different from the villager’s. Usually he wears a leather skirt, with some drawings, colorful cords and rarely wears something on the top; this way his body painting is shown all the time. It is also possible to notice that the Lord, even being a little older, is still in an excellent shape. The apparel that draws more attention is his cockade, because of its size, the color of the feathers and the way they are disposed, looking like a crown.
However, in some situations, Trumai’s Lord is an outgoing person. He makes jokes, even if they are not very funny, speaks a lot and likes to stay close to the villagers during parties, sport events, etc. Sometimes he takes part on the rodas de Capoeira. This doesn’t happen very often, after all, as a Capoeira master, Cauré’s role is to teach more than to compete. The real intention of his participations is to show that, besides being the Lord of the Village, he is also an ordinary man.
