Story
Ziggy was one of the rare beings from planet Belammy that has been born with a different color. While almost every citizen has a dark green hide, his is purple and he has dark red eyes, which grants him a sinister look, although it does not quite match his personality.
But, in Belammy, no one can escape the prejudice of being different. Not even his mother, Dimmy, could bear the idea of having a purple-skinned son. She let the planet’s governors decide the fate of little Ziggy.
The cruel habit of Bellamy’s rulers was to isolate all who
diverge from the rest, hoping they would never be able to escape. But sometimes the planet’s inhabitants are born with special abilities and, as an irony of fate, his was the ability to teleport himself.
This way he has been able to leave the island, having no idea of the reason why he ended up there. The first time, already grown up, that Ziggy showed in a big city, his presence caused an enormous commotion and he was arrested. No one was able to explain how he got away from the island.
All these events were more than enough to show the small dragon that he was not welcome. Since then, he accepted the fact that he had to live undercover, wandering around and using his power, even though he does not control it very well, when he needed to run away.
Even with all this difficulties, the dragon always managed to have fun with these situations, while feeling the pain of living alone. Homeless, Ziggy decided to search for the island, to where he decided to return as an inhabitant and not as a prisoner.
Personality
Constantly suffering with loneliness, he tries to be as pleasant as possible with everyone, although he always expects to be avoided or harmed. Always a joker, he likes to play tricks, although he does it on the most safe and harmless way.
Ziggy’s loneliness has turned him into a “sticky” guy. Anyone who gives him some attention, or the chance to get a little closer, is going to make a friend that talks too much.
Abilities
Ziggy has the special ability to teleport himself from one place to another. The exact distance he can cover has not been determined yet.
His capacity to direct the teleport is still very limited, especially when he teleports by instinct.
