Story
Little Alicia was a clumsy child. She had everything she needed to become a nerd and unpopular teenager. But something on her personality motivated her to keep away from this destiny, which she considered to be tragic. The answer came while watching a soccer game of Campeonato Brasileiro da Série A, the highest division of Brazilian football, with her father Júlio.
Alicia wanted to be an athlete. She wanted to run, jump, play any sport; to be quick, skilled and beautiful like the sportswomen she saw on TV. She was 12 years old, wore braces and huge glasses, and then she decided the time had come to change this.
She begged her parents to sign her up in as many sport classes as possible. Disbelieving the daughter, they signed her up in a volleyball class, hoping she would quit it in less than a month and return to her hard study routine.
For their surprise, Alicia was summoned to be part of the first team in the state tournament. On the day after, with a gold medal on her chest, she talked to her parents and they agreed to sign her up in any sport class she wanted, from table tennis to soccer.
She showed high skills, in all sport genres. Soon, her mother’s almost abandoned gym room had to be transformed into a trophy room, to store the huge number of medals and cups that the girl had won.
Alicia was interested in each and every sport genre. But the one which turned out to be her great passion was Capoeira, which would become an Olympic sport in 2046. A year after that, she acquired Capoeira master’s degree. So, the girl started to feel very proud of wearing the full gear and show the red cord belt, which means she deserves the title. She still plans to acquire the maximum graduation, by sustaining master’s degree for many years.
Losing has become an unknown word in the young athlete’s vocabulary, who left the interest in studies aside, going through school with average grades, but collecting trophies and medals anywhere she would compete.
This competition spirit became part of her daily life. Any event that could be faced as a competition became a reason to fight for one more victory. The search for bigger challenges was turning into an out of control ambition. She was already able to imagine herself on the next Olympic Games, winning gold medals on the biggest possible number of sports.
But her plans have been stopped by the only thing that can cancel and Olympic Games edition: a war. The outbreak of a worldwide conflict, in 2048, destroyed her dream and led her into a state of depression that, instead of apathy, put her under a routine of inhuman physical activity. Since then, every person who knows her is just waiting for the girl to collapse.
Personality
She is a happy person, who likes to stimulate everyone to workout in order to lift up the spirit and become more confident of themselves. She is a very social person, who is always trying to gather people around herself even though it is, usually, to compete.
Alicia is totally focused on victory and every little thing can be used as a reason for competition. The tenacity she brings along, sometimes, borders cruelty, because she does not consider her opponents’ limitations.
Abilities
Alicia is on the summit of human physical condition, with incredible strength, flexibility, speed, reflexes and endurance.
She is trained in many different forms of martial arts, but she appreciates them just for competition and never harms any living being.
